The design by Birgit Dopsch was voted the winning project in the course of the remodeling of Kufstein’s city park. Just like a community, four steel-glass elements are grouped at the entry of the park. The area itself can be entered through one of the four elements which is shaped to act as a “gate”. On the one hand it is a symbol for a medieval town gate, on the other side its empty frame represents the element of air which completes the other three objects, as they are modelled to resemble fire, water, and earth. When the sunlight falls through the glass elements, they create colored shades, which invite interaction. They also offer different images when observed from different perspectives, reminding the spectator of the many different opinions held by people and advocating or tolerance.

For the realization of the project, the artist cooperated with the firm Derix, located in Taunusstein (Germany).
